The Only Active Kyrgyzstan's Metal Act
Black death metallers Kashgar from Kyrgyzstan have recently released
their self-titled debut album “Kashgar“, which is already getting some
very positive reviews in Europe. The band was formed in 2014 and is
currently the only active metal act in a small Central-Asian country of
Kyrgyzstan.
Howling out of the Pamir Mountains, Kashgar take all
souls with a sound hearkening back to the golden age of extreme metal.
“Kashgar” was recorded
between July 2015 and February 2016 at The Base studio, Bishkek. It was
produced by Kashgar, recorded and mixed by Ars (Kashgar) and mastered by
Achilleas Kalantzis (Varathron, Aenaon, Katavasia) at Crown Audio Conspiracies. The cover
art is by Constance Leite Parker and the design is done by Ars.
“Kashgar“ is available digitally via the band’s official Bandcamp page. The limited edition LP was released on vinyl in January 2017 by a German label Manifest of Hate.
